Cheat’s Chocolate Puds

This is the ONLY recipe you’ll need this Christmas and it’s not really even a recipe, it’s technically just decorating!

It’s simple enough for the kids to make with you or even on their own if they’re old enough. BEST of all these puddings can be made weeks in advance so you only need to have ONE session at the beginning of the season where you make LOTS & you’re done!

If you keep them in an airtight container you’ll have them on hand and ready to go whenever needed for the rest of the season.

They are the answer to SO many stress points over the Christmas period …

Need a plate for a class/club/family party - done ✔️

Need a teacher/coach/last minute gift - done ✔️

Up late, stressed & need chocolate - done ✔️

You will need:

  • Chocolate Royal Biscuits

  • White chocolate melts

  • Red Jaffas

  • Spearmint leaf lollies, sliced into smaller leaves

How to make them:

  1. Melt white chocolate in the microwave, then wait for it to cool slightly to a thick consistency. If it’s too runny it’ll slide right off.

  2. With a spoon place a blob of melted chocolate onto the top of the chocolate biscuit & gently smooth it over the top for the desired effect.

  3. Pop a jaffa on the top, along with two mint leaf slices and set aside for it to harden.

  4. Keep in an airtight container & they’ll last for weeks. Do NOT put them in the fridge as the jaffa will turn a funny white colour.

TIPS: The key is the consistency of the white chocolate. The temperature can play a role here, so take it from me - don’t make these on a really hot day with no air conditioning!

If you do end up making these - please tag me in your instagram or facebook photos so that I can see them!
